About Bella
Who is Bella the Harpist?
Bella’s love for the harp began at age five. At six years old, she performed her first recital for a large Christmas audience, and by eight, she played her first wedding for her babysitter. Those early experiences shaped a lifelong passion for creating beautiful music for meaningful moments.
Originally from North Carolina, Bella studied with North Carolina Symphony harpist Anita Burroughs-Price before continuing her studies at Furman University, where she earned a Bachelor of Arts in Music and Anthropology. She later received a scholarship to study harp in Vienna with harpist Judith Schiller and performed chamber music under the direction of flautist Ulrike Anton.
With over 20 years of experience, Bella has performed for luxury weddings, private events, recitals, and luxury collaborations. Her diverse Peruvian, Japanese, and European heritage inspires a distinctive approach to music that blends elegance, emotion, and artistry.
Today, Bella brings refined musicianship, professionalism, and a warm presence to every celebration. Performing alongside her Lyon & Healy Style 23 harp, Zara Rose, she creates unforgettable musical experiences for weddings and events throughout Chicago, Milwaukee, Atlanta, and beyond.
